My New Skirt!

I am going to be in a parade this upcoming weekend and wanted to make my skirt to wear in it. I started with a yard of a beautiful fabric I found at my local fabric store. Then I hemmed all four sides. After words, I cut a circle in the middle as an area for a waist band and connected wide elastic. Afterwards I added a couple of pickups on the front of both sides and left the back two corners long. This is what I ended up with. What a great way to spend a rainy day.

Not every bachelorette party has to be a wild and crazy night that you don't remember. Make a remember-able weekend of it with your friends. For my friends party this last weekend we went to a great resort just a couple hours from home, got pedicures and manicures as well as spent some time at the casino. When you have a view like this from your room at the resort, you know that it is a great weekend!
